This project reimagines branding for Café Granja La Esperanza, a Colombian producer of high-altitude specialty coffee. The goal: packaging that shows what the coffee tastes like, mapping data points directly into the design.
Every coffee bean carries a set of data: the altitude it was planted at, the temperature it grew in, how it was processed, and more. Each factor changes how the coffee tastes. In this project, those changes turn into design choices that shape the pattern. For example, higher altitude adds complexity, so the visual shows more layers.

To map these parameters into visuals, I built an interactive platform in HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. You can plug in a bean’s data points and watch the pattern form in real time. The final generated pattern should be a representation of that bean’s taste. You can

Using this platform, I plugged in data from 20 specialty coffee beans produced by Cafe Granja la Esperanza.
